| DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER ENGINEERING |
Department of Computer Engineering started in 1984. A small batch of students was admitted.
Since then the department has progressively improved in infrastructure, faculty, equipment
and also student intake. Today we have 23 faculty members of which 8 are having post graduate
qualification and rest are first class Engineering Graduates. Dr. H.B. Kekre joined as Head of
the Department in 1995 on retiring from IIT Mumbai. In last eleven years department has made
progress in all respects. The department has been accredited by National Board of Accreditation
New Delhi for 3 years upto March 2008.

| Internet connection with TCP/IP account |
|
The college has dedicated cable-net connection providing 40 UG + 10 PG Internet connections over the college for free accesses to the Internet, for students. Interconnected with a highly sophisticated local area network providing Internet through CAT 5 100 Mbps connection. The Internet connection is renewed through annual contract.
Complete networking was done in-house connecting over 300 computers on local area network (LAN).
