In this department the faculty is selected from all over the country through rigorous interview procedures. All of them hold at least a first class B E Degree (Some do have M.E.). Most of them possess teaching experience of five years and more.

Our faculty continuously keeps abreast with technology by attending refresher courses by visiting electronics industries and by looking into recent issues of technical journals. At present, while adopting revised university syllabus DEE is busy in devising new experiments and preparing lectures on topics.

From time to time, our faculty members utilize sponsorship facilities to acquire higher academic degrees. TSEC liberally sponsors our faculty for short term courses, seminars and conferences. Some of them are invited to deliver lectures during conferences and short term courses. In short, our young faculty (with an average age of around 30 years) is quite open to new technology and they constantly strive to acquire new knowledge and skills.

The faculty has published more than 50 papers in National/International journals and conferences.

We make sure that our faculty & students get exposure to recent trends in industry & research by inviting experts from IIT (Mumbai), BARC, TIFR & Industries like MTNL, INTEL etc. for guest lectures.
