APPLICATION AND DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
Applications should be accompanied by the attested copies of the following documents:
- Statement of Marks obtained at B.E. or its equivalent qualifying examination.
- Institute Leaving / Transference / Migration Certificate.
- Indian Nationality : It should be mentioned in the Institute / College Leaving Certificate, failing which a Certificate of Indian Nationality issued by a competent authority or by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of the Tahasildar should be submitted.
NOTE:- If admitted, provisional Eligibility Certificate (For Qualifying Examination From other than Mumbai University) shall be processed by the college.
- Original certificates shall be submitted for verification to the admission authority. If a Candidate is offered admission, his/her original institution leaving (after qualifying examination) / transference / migration certificate and statement of marks at the qualifying examination will be retained by the authority effecting the admission. These two original certificates will not be returned to any candidate once admitted to a course unless the candidate cancels his/her admission or completes the course.
- If a candidate is unable to produce the required original certificates at the time of his/her admission on account of his/her admission to some other institution, he/she will have to produce a certificates from the Head of the Institution where he/she has taken admission indicating that he/she has taken admission to a particular course in that institution on (date)& hence his/her original certificates have been retained in that institution. This "Retention Certificate" along with the copies of the two certificates, i.e. ( i) Institution Leaving Certificate (ii) Statement of marks of the Qualifying Examination (duly attested by the Head of that Institution) should be submitted. Such candidate shall be required to pay the fees on the spot and submit the required original certificates to the admission authority within 48 working hours or as period mentioned by the authority. Candidates shall sign the undertaking for the same.
If HE/SHE FAILS TO SUBMIT THE CERTIFICATES WITHIN THE GIVEN PERIOD, THE ADMISSION SHALL BE TREATED AS CANCELLED AND NO REFUND OF FEES SHALL BE GRANTED.
- Copies of certificates attached to application form should be attested by the Principal of the college or Special Executive Magistrate or any Gazetted Officer. Original Certificates if attached to the application, will not be returned. Original certificates will have to be produced at the time of scrutiny of application prior to admission.
- Application for admission will not be considered unless it is :
- properly and correctly filled in, and signed by the candidate seeking the admission.
- Accompanied by attested copies of the requisite certificates in support of the claim made in the application.
- Received in the office by the proper authority on or before the last date prescribed.
- Accompanied by the Application and Registration Fee of Rs. 750/- (Rs. 375/- for SC/ST Category) by Cash or Demand Draft or Postal Order in favour of 'THADOMAL SHAHANI ENGINEERING COLLEGE, MUMBAI'.
- Applications received after the last date and time prescribed will not be entertained under any circumstances.
- The list of certificates as enumerated in the application form for admission should be filled by the candidates as indicated herein.
